Driverside door key hole does not unlock my car now but passenger door is fine, any idea on how I can fix this problem?

Honda 05 civic door driverside

Have a TECH take off the Door Trim.
Reconnect the lock mechanism.

You could do it yourself, but you would need the "snap fasteners" as they may be destroyed when prying off the trim.

Lubricate the lock with graphite made for the purpose. If that doesn't work, install a new handle/lock assembly and get it altered by a locksmith to fit your present key.

Take it to a locksmith & ask him…

This is what garage and mechanics are for, dope.

Get the barrel replaced by an auto-lock smith and "keyed alike" to your key.

Take the door card off, something may have fallen off

There are a number of possible issues.
If the key won't turn, graphite lubricant in the cylinder may help.
If the key turns, but the lock doesn't open, the most likely problem is that the lock mechanism has become disconnected from the lock cylinder. If that is the case, or if the graphite doesn't work, the door trim panel must be removed to make repairs inside the door. If the door can't be opened, that will required physical damage to the panel.

Remove the inner door panel and reattach the lock operating rod.

The arm inside the door may have fallen off. If the key doesn't turn.
if it does turn then its the mechanism inside the door and you have to take it apart and fix it

Clean the key real good and lubricate the driver side lock hole with special graphite lock dry lube. DO NOT use WD40 not any other aerosol spray type lubricant!
