Dropped car and now AC fans don't work?

I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX, it has the basic A.C. System and non vetec

So I changed my oil yesterday and as I was lowering the car it well didn't stay on the jack the whole time. It fell off with like 4 inches left to go. Car dropped and bounced alittle, I say ohh fiddle sticks and then get in the car and drive it off. Two things happened, the power steering had to be refilled, it started sqeeling bad, didn't look like it leaked, I just had to add some fluid and its working fine now 3 days later

The second thing that happened and I actually noticed this right after it dropped and I started the car is the interior fans doesn't work, I turn the dial and nothing happens. I turn the vent position knob and I can hear the vents turn, if I turn the temp up or down I can hear the servos turning. However nothing with the fans, they worked perfectly fine before I dropped the car.

What could have happened?

Vent flaps can be disengaged from original position.

Maybe a fuse got dislodged. In any case, check the fuse for the fan. I would call a 4" drop nothing. The car probably bounces that much plenty of times.

With the blower fan set to the highest speed and the ignition turned on… Bang on the blower motor housing to see if that gets it working again.
There's only one interior fan and after reading your post saying "the AC fans don't work) I at first thought you meant the condenser fan and radiator fan because you stated AC fans as in two of them.
Why are you even changing your own oil? That doesn't save any money.

  • 2007 Honda rebel won't start lights don't work? So I left the key turned for a few hours and the battery died. I got it charged and checked and everything shows as being good. My roommate tried jump starting it when I went to work so I don't know if that hurt something. All the fuses are good. However when I turn the key the bikes lights don't come on, nothing works. I can put it in first and the get a running start to crank it by popping the clutch. That works for day time riding, but at night the lights are dim. Any ideas?
  • My ac don't work! What do I do? I have a 1997 honda civic dx the AC doesn't work, i turn on the air and press the AC button but there's absolutely no cold air blowing, the AC fan the one next to the radiator or cooling fan doesn't turn on, but the cooling fan does turn on when the engine reaches normal temperature. Does my car need a recharge?
  • Lock and Unlock buttons on my 2002 Honda Civic remote don't work? I press the red unlock and lock buttons and the light flashes on the remote, you hear the car beep, but the doors don't do anything?
  • Honda fans! I need to know the year and model type of this Honda? I know it's a Honda Civic Sedan. What's the year and model title? I'm guessing a 2000 Honda Civic Sedan?
