Engine management light on?
I have a honda civic 1.6 2005 my car heats up very quick to the half way point on the temperature gauge i've realised my engine management light came on can someone help me please?
Quickly heating up to 1/2 way is normal. The thermostat will stay closed until the engine reaches normal temp, then it opens and allows some water through the radiator to keep the engine at that temperature. If it doesn't heat up to normal, or goes over normal, then you have a problem.
Check engine light will come on for all sorts of reasons. Get a mechanic to read the codes from the computer and he will then be able to tell you what's actually going wrong. May be as minor as a loose gas cap or a bad spark plug, or it may be more serious. No way to tell if there are no other symptoms.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Test light on positive lead on starter relay comes on when the motorcycle is off, when bike key is turn on, test light is off? Does this mean starter relay is bad? I'm trying to diagnose my electrical problem on a honda cbr f4. The lights turned on but when I tried to start bike all power shut off and now nothing powers on.
- Fog light stopped working after installed LED light? Hi, I have a 2013 Honda Fit and recently installed the led headlight on my car, but my fog light stopped working. Anyone know why and how to fix it? I'm assuming the fog light and headlight are in the same circuit so once I installed the led the voltage changed?
- Engine light on, o2 sensor bad, knocing sound from top of engine? Hi, i have honda prelude 98.manual. The problem started with knocing sound from engine for few days! Then all of sudden engine check light comes on! I got engine light checked! It comes o2 sensor bad! Car rpm is really low now touches zero and get back to 200/300 when in neutral
