Everything else on the car runs great.
Not in my opinion. New battery is approx. $2200.00.
Not really. The battery packs may end up costing $3500 with installation and you can buy a pretty nice 2006 for around $6K.
- Roughly how much could I get from selling my hybrid car with a dead hybrid battery? I have a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid with about 175k miles. I'm the second owner and there's nothing else wrong with it besides the dead hybrid battery. The battery is very expensive to replace and it's honestly just more of a financially smart decision to sell it rather than spending about 2,000 on a new battery. I just want to know what is a decent price to let it go for considering the hybrid battery is dead ultimately making it useless until replaced.

I took the battery out for some reason n wen i put it back the stereo stopped working. Itsonly showin ' eject cd' and ' open/close' . Can somebody help me out please. Cheers
- How to drive a honda civic hybrid car with out hybrid battery? Bought a car about 4 months ago and the battery is now dead. I check to make sure its not the normal battery and Auto Zone said it was fine. I'm sure its the hybrid battery but i don't have the money to pay 1,000 or more for a battery on a car i just spent money on. Is there a way you can drive this car without the hybrid battery? Or dose anyone know a place to get these batteries cheaper?
- 05 honda civic hybrid battery issues? I have an 05 honda civic hybrid and at random times it will not start. Usually after not running for a good minute. I have a hunch its simply a bad 12v but i do not want to invest in that without further info. When driving the ima assist and charge works fine but the battery charge dies very quickly. It will also start just fine after a jump every time. Any info is appreciated
