Added (1). Just bought a brand new 2014 honda civic, and i'm looking to get subs. I do not know much about this type of stuff and was looking for some help. I just need some quality subs that will sound good and be worth the money. Let me know what you guys think!
I would advise you to go with Pioneer brand, as for me they are one of the best. However, you can check some other options.
Why don't you at least break in the car before you start looking at way to start cutting holes and pulling wires. I suggest reading the owner's manual to see how the stereo works and how to adjust the sound you have already. Yeah, you can have a subwoofer and amplifier put in for extra bass, but make sure the amp you choose doesn't consume more power than the car already has. In a car that size, 300 watts should suffice.
You FAIL to state what model of Civic you ALLEGEDLY have. Unless you bought the cheapest base model, you ALREADY HAVE A CENTER SUBWOOFER, so why don't you just pull your head out of where it is and figure out your situation before you start dreaming about needless, worthless "upgrades". At least you admit you "don't know much"!
