Have a 1991 honda civic hatchback and i wanna know the best engine swap for cheap?
Cheapest motor I would suggest is the b18a/b (base model Acura Integra motor). It's a cheap starting point with a lot of upgrades available if you want to go fast plus there pretty reliable if you want to stay stock.
- What's the best engine (to add horse power and torque) that i can swap into my 1999 Honda Prelude? Currently i have an H22A but i heard that the k series or even the f series are better? Is this true or should i just stick with my H22A?
- On average how much horsepower would a short-ram intake give my 1991 honda civic hatchback? (engine: D15b7)? Just wondering how much horsepower a short-ram intake would give my civic, I know it depends on the quality of the intake i'm just wanting an estimate.
- I'm looking to buy a b16a vtech for 1991 honda civic dx? (not a hatchback)? I'm looking to buy a b16a vtech for my 91 civic dx but i no nothing about this kinda stuff except what some friends have told me i would like to know what all i need and any advice also a place to get it installed, i live in Washington state, i've been looking on the enternet but can't find anything. So if you can help me out thank you
- I'm thinking if doing a project and want to know what would be best with an engine swap? I was thinking of doing a project on a Honda civic, I have seen S2k builds and had decided that I might try to do that rather then the classic K series or B series build, sombly because of the fact I want to try and stand out. I was wondering which motor would be better, the JDM F20C, or the USDM F22C1? I had researched and the only difference I could find was displacement and torque differences. I just want to know what would respond better to mods?
