Honda civic 2000 dx a/c install. (manufactured without a/c)?
I'm wondering what parts are needed to put in an a/c into a honda civic dx
2000. Am I missing any parts?
-Molded heater hose
-Relay
-heater core
-blower motor
-heater valve
-suction line
-discharge hose
-evaporator -
-compressor
-dryer
-condensor
-condenser cooling fan
You won't need a blower motor… The vehicle already has one for the heater system Same thing for the heater core… It's not required for an A/C system and the vehicle will already have one.
Your still missing some parts from your list such as the high and low pressure switches for the receiver drier, and the A/C button on the console to turn the system on and off.
If you don't know what parts you will need, I strongly suggest either studying how an air conditioning system works or handing over the vehicle to a shop that can do the work for you.
Evaporator Housing, engine computer, integrated control computer (body computer), wiring harness, just of the top of my head. You'll also need to R&R the entire dash.
- How to drop a 2000 honda lx without a lowering kit? I just want to know because I'm really cheap and don't feel like spending alot of money dropping it I think I can cut the springs if I'm mistaken.
- Will starter from an automatic 2000 Honda civic LX fit on a automatic 2000 Honda civic HX? The lx is a 5 gear transmission and the hx is a CVT transmission. With the starter fit? Mine went out on my hx

- I'm trying to install a new radiator in my 2008 Honda Civic EX. I need There's a cord/cable that is connected to the bottom left side of my old radiator that will not come off and I don't know what it is, any tips or does anyone know what it is. It's raining right now so I ll be able to post pictures after.
