Honda Civic 2011 gears and snow tires?

Wondering when to use the different gears in my 2011 Honda Civic? (D1, D2, D3)… And would I still be allowed to use such gears with snow tires mounted on?

Having snow tires on your car won't make any difference on how the car is driven, except slower.

Tire is a tire, only difference is the snow tires perform better in snow - no other advantages or changes need to be made.

Gearing has nothing to do with tire type. Secondly, you would only wish to drop to a lower gear in snow or ice if you were attempting to climb a ascending area of road such as a steep driveway at a low speed. Otherwise, still slap it in D and go.

Leave the tranny in drive in the winter time. When you use lower gears the tires can lock up on the snow or ice because in the lower gears the motor can slow down the vehicle causing the wheels to lock up.

Your driving instructor is supposed to teach you about the different fear selections and when to use them.
Just use D.
Winter ties make no difference.
