Honda Civic, Did someone try to break in or is it just a worn key hole?
I've had this car for 2 years and there has always been a piece of metal that covered the inside of the hole, but recently I felt the key was going in way to easy and I looked down and it was open. The ignition is the same exact way now O.o
Probably worn. My 1997 Accord has the same look to it. Sure is fun when winter comes and the door freezes. I keep telling my daughter to leave the car unlocked.
- If my 92 honda key isn't working, can I replace just the part where the key goes in, or do I have to do more? They are telling me that with installation, it will be like $300 at least, My friend just had the same problem, but in an much older pick up, but she said they just replaced a small part where they ket goes in?
- Do you think driving with worn springs this will cause damage to the clutch/transmission? The rear springs are very worn. Or maybe the drive train. It makes shifting difficult as the car squats if accelerated hard. And it feels as the hard is lurking back and for.
