Honda civic
The si is nothing but a stylish civic and maybe 15 lb's of torque more from minor mods. And you pay about 7000 more.
The Scion which has Camry engine with some performance mods from factory which gives it plenty of power. Some3 say it is unreliable because there's not much you can do to make quicker without changing car. It does have a supercharger for 7000.00 which with all mods needed witch means done by factory standards, will give you almost 240 lb's of torque. Most people use aftermarket stuff and end up with a mess as Toyota 's are not made for making super fast.
Scion has a surprisingly high 'frequency of repair' for a Japanese brand. It's especially surprising since it's made by Toyota. For some reason Scion has shown itself not nearly as reliable as Toyota.
Honda, OTOH, is the second most reliable brand, after Toyota!
