Honda Civic Si vs Nissan 370Z Base. Which is better?
I'm looking for a fun commuter car for under $30K. I can buy a fairly loaded Honda Si for about $25K and a bare bones Nissan 370Z for $28K. Both are brand new. Which is better for the long term?
Go with the honda I like Nissan but the police follow you Saturday nights lol
As a commuter vehicle I'd probably go with the Honda. Get the extra options like a nice sound system, comfy seats and satnav that make your commute less of a hassle.
The Civic has plenty of power for city driving and is nice enough to drive, won't attract police attention, cheaper insurance, real back seats etc. Just makes it a more practical car for what you need.
The 370Z is more of a sports car, but you really need the open road to enjoy a car like that. Driving a powerful sports car in rush hour traffic is just frustrating.
The nissan. Never goes out of style, always beautiful. More power, better upgrades. Lasts longer and way more fun to drive. Just buy it.
The 370Z is the better of the two if all you need is a 2 seater.
Nissan 370Z
Honda Civic Si is better for long term cause it's proven reliable, comfortable, and practical. 370Z isn't known to be reliable(look at the stats, they're kinda unreliable).
IMO the 370Z is more fun and looks cooler. It does ride abit rougher, but buying a sports car as a daily has it's compromises.
I would just get a 370z and keep the current car(assuming it's a sedan/suv/wagon)
There really is no comparison between a civic si and a 370z, even the base model vs the si, even if the si has HFP. I've had two civic si, they are great economy cars, pretty slow, and NOT sports cars. A Z minus, it's a two seater and poor rear visibility. A z has nearly twice the HP and weighs only a few hundred pounds more. Styling, seats and fit and finish on the Z is so impressive. I've had two 370z as well, now I have a 370z nismo. The Z was never designed as an economy car, only a sports car. It's like the difference between a scooter and a sport bike. Semaphore and a cell phone. A 19" tube TV and a 55" plasma or LED. I'm So GLAD I got out of the civic rut.

- I have searched EVERYWHERE that I can think of with no luck 1990 Honda CRX base or hf model manual window reg? I'm not sure if I can fix the one I have. I bought the car new and it is the original regulator. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
- Nissan Altima (2015) vs Toyota Camry (2014.5) vs Nissan Sentra (2015). Which is best ride on the market now? I'm looking to buy a new car 0.0% financing and these are the only companies that offer 0.0% financing on new and old cars. ( i know honda civic is great but they offer 0.9% finance). I want a car that is a smooth ride, fuel effecient and car that will last me a long time. Overall, a good car. These are my top three cars NISSAN ALTIMA, TOYOTA CAMRY and NISSAN SENTRA? which one do you guys think is the best? i'm open to suggestions…
- How to install a front license plate base on a 2013 Honda Civic Sedan? I've never had to do this before and I can't seem to find instructions online. I was hoping to do it myself. Right now my civic has nothing on the front to hold a front license plate.
