How long does it take to get a car back from the body shop?

Ok so last Thursday I was involved in a car accident, and my headlight is broken (but not beaten up or anything like it has a broken glass), my rearview mirror came off, and I have a dent on the lower side of my passenger side of my car. Ok so sometime this week the adjuster (I hope I spelled that right) is suppose to come down here to the body shop to like inspect it and everything. And I heard that if you only have minor damage and really good insurance that you may get your car back a little sooner. And there are 4 or 5 cars ahead of me and my car is only $500 worth in damage so is this true
1) the less damage the quicker you get your car back
2)how long does it take (my uncle told me less damage means more fast/2-4 weeks)
3)I have state farm insurance so does that mean it'll be faster
4)how long do parts come in
5)I drive a Honda civic coupe 2009 so is it like a foreign car and are those cars easier to fix and order parts
6)what else will they do to my car

It depends on how badly damaged the 4 or 5 cars ahead of you are. It depends on the size of the shop and how many guys are working on cars.
1. Yes, of course. Fixing a mirror obviously takes less time then replacing an entire front end that hit a moose.

4. It varies but it is usually pretty quick.
5. Foreign cars have been common place and in fact are more common then domestic cars that it really doesn't matter. In fact, your Honda may have been made here. They have factories here.
6. It depends. Your headlight may be broken but the parts that hold it up and aim it may also be broken. The same goes with all the other parts.

Stop obsessing over this and let the body shop do it's job. If they are any good it will take time. You should worry if they are too quick. It could mean that they are doing sloppy, rushed work.

How long is a piece of string?

Ask the shop.

How busy are they (do they have to fix 6 other cars before they get to yours)?
Do they have to wait for parts. Will they come overnight or are they out of stock and will take a week?

Once they get the parts and actually start work, it's still a couple of days to complete the job as spray putty / primer / paint / clear coat has to cure between each stage. This is why you will see them working on several cars at once.
