How loud are subs with 375 rms?
I'm looking to install a setup of two power bass m-124 12" 375 rms subs with an ssl f2600 amp into my 2000 Honda civic ex (which already has an aftermarket head unit installed). How loud will these be? Basically I want them to be loud enough to rattle my car and I want to feel it beat in my chest. Will these do it or do I need to go bigger. Also are these quality or no?
I have two 12" subs that are 250 watts rms and they can get pretty loud, however, your subs might not be built for loudness. Try and look up how many decibels it puts out
Your subs could be 10000w and it wouldn't matter.
Your amp is the problem at the moment.
The F2.600 is a VERY low power amp. It has a 25A fuse. With a 4 ohm sub on each channel you'll probably get around 75w rms each.
You'll hear them, that's about it.
It takes a reasonable amt of money, quite a bit of time, and SOME know-how to get the level of SPL it sounds like you're going for. A $50 amp ain't gonna cut it.
- Why did my car get so loud? I have a 2002 Honda Civic lx. Recently it got really loud. The noise happens when i press on the gas. It sounds like i'm driving a motorcycle when its a small car. Just don't know much about cars and need some help. I looked under the hood and realized a crack. I don't know if it means anything but ill post the picture if it helps. Any info is appreciated!
- What wiring do I need for my amps and subs? I have 2 12" kicker cvrs and a Pyle 2 channel 2000 watt amp. The car that I have is a 20003 honda civic lx coupe.
- What else do I need as far as wiring for subs, head unit, and amp for 2002 Honda civic lx? I have a bass inferno 1500dx watt amp, with two 10 inch rockford fosgate punch p1 subs, and a pioneer FH-X700BT head unit that has bluetooth. I'm new to this is need to know what all wires are needed to be purchased so I'm able to install everything.
- Is it normal for a 2011 Honda civic to have loud wind/rattling noises at about 65 MPH? I'm test driving a 2011 Civic. I like the way it drives, but I took it on the highway and when it reaches 65 mph it makes a loud noise it sounds like wind blowing through the left side of the car. The faster I go the louder it sounds. Is that normal. I have been driving the dealer crazy for over a week now.
