How much does it cost to repair a Hydraulic Clutch for a 2008 Honda Civic at the dealer?
The check engine light on my car recently went on so I went to Auto Zone so they could check it out. Turns out, the "Hydraulic Clutch" was what turned the check engine light on. On average, how much would it cost if I took it to the Honda dealer so they could fix it?
My car is a 2008 Honda Civic Dx with a 1.8L engine.
I can't understand how the car's diagnostics would detect a clutch fault. In fact I don't believe it can. The engine check light covers things like faulty emissions, low oil pressure, overharting and the like. Auto Zone are conning you. A clutch fault would show itself as either slipping and losing traction or dragging and making gear changes noisy or difficult. Take your car to Honda dealer who will tell you the truth.
The slave cylinder is probaly leaking have a good trans shop look at it or road test it
- Will advance auto bleed my hydraulic clutch and refill it? I have a 1984 Honda magna and I was told there's air in the hydraulic line and I don't know how to bleed them I'm just wondering if advance auto can bleed and refill my line. P.s I'm leaving for a road trip in 8 hrs and really need it done

- Hydraulic motorcycle clutch problems? I recently bought an 82 honda magna v45. The clutch level has no pressure, therefore won't engage. - I bought a used car from the dealer 2008 honda civic si, did i pay to much? I paid 16k and opted for 220 a month payments. the car has 35000 miles on it. Its standard, with navigational system, sunroof, power window. I'm asking becaue i have people telling me its worth way less. Nada blue book seems to think so but kelly blue book says 16,700 the high mark.
