How much to sell used 2000 Honda Civic Si for?

I have a used Honda Civic Si that I'm trying to sell. The engine is locked up so it needs a new one but otherwise is in good condition. Its a 5-speed manual and has 197,000 miles on it. New sound system, rear spoiler, and leather seats. What is a fair price to ask for it?

My daughter just gave one away. It ran great and had fewer miles on it. She got a new car and gave it to her niece.

The problem with a car without a working engine is that potential buyers can't drive the car and find out what the rest of the vehicle is like ( transmission, suspension, etc. ) so buying such a vehicle is a very risky buy.

Therefore you can expect to be low-balled. I'd be surprised if you're offered more than $500 for it. You might be better off replacing the engine and selling it after or parting it out.

250 bucks

15 year old car with 197,000 miles on the odometer and it is a stick shift with a bad engine. Remove the sound system, spoiler, and sell it to a junk yard or to anyone offering you more than $200. Now sell the spoiler and sound system. This car is pretty much ready for the salvage yard.

It's worth a couple of hundred for spares as it's pretty well worn out
