I'd guess at about a thousand bucks, since in order to get to the transmission "filter", you'd have to remove the transmission from the vehicle and open it up; as in, take the transmission apart.

What Ron is trying to say is the only filter in Honda transmissions is not meant to be changed except at overhaul. There's no user serviceable transmission filter, no pan.

Look at the tranny, if you can see the oil pan you can do it yourself or may be $45
I don't have auto. But the 90 Accord I had, you would need to drop the tranny and dis assemble the whole thing to reach a filter mesh that you would either clean or replace. Not a cheap job!
IF the tranny is slipping chances are you might as well have it fix, right there and then,
USE HONDA ATF only, the manual says you can use Dextron as an EMERGENCY and replace it as soon as you get home or tech shop. IF the tranny never got the fluid changed as part of its maintenance intervals you will have to reuse the old fluid when replacing the filter. Assuming you did not use dextron.
