How reliable are honda civic's?
I have a 2001 honda civic ex with 160,000 miles what should I worry about replacing like timing belts, oil change, tune up etc… It's a 4 cylinder vtec Single over head cam
The 2001 is an extremely good quality and reliable automobile, it should last many more miles if properly serviced and maintained. Like any other vehicle that has 160k miles, service for the timing belt, water pump, tires, brakes, belts, hoses, etc., should be properly maintained.
Your own experience shows they are very reliable if properly maintained. Timing belts on Honda vehicles should be replaced about every 60K miles. Have other belts, fluids, spark plugs, etc. Checked regularly.
- Nissan vs Hyundai vs Toyota vs Honda vs Scion. Which one is more reliable and a better purchase? Nissan vs. Hyundai vs. Toyota vs. Honda vs. Scion… Which one is more reliable and a better purchase?
- Is the 1979 honda cb750f super sport reliable? A guy in town is selling one with 11,000 miles on it and says it runs great. Are there any known problems with them? I don't want to buy a bike that will end up needing lots of work to fix when it's only worth like $1000 anyways.
- Honda passport. Reliable? I want to buy one for going to work/school and occasional camping/offroading it has 150k miles and from 1999. My other choices are infiniti qx4 or chevy blazer. I haven't seen passports much so id like to know more
- Will my 2000 honda civic dx be reliable for a 8 hour car ride? I'm planning to go to vegas with my wife. I live in the bay area and want to take it to vegas. Approx. It is 8-9 hout car ride. The car is a 2000 civic dx with 54k miles. Car does not leak, timing belt has been changed, most fluids are pretty new. Tires and break is good as well. Will the car take me there without it breaking down?
