How to know if my 2001 Honda Civic Sedan LXS has rear drum brakes?

How do I know if my 2001 Honda Civic Sedan LXS has rear drum brakes?

This is the easiest way to tell, go out and take off one of the back wheels and look. If you see w flat surface with a machined or shiny look then you have disc brakes. If you see a round metal container that looks like a metal drum/bucket usually painted black or rust colored then you have drum brakes

If they are drum brakes then you won't see any brake discs or brake pads only a brake drum when you look from underneath or remove the rear road wheel.

Crawl under the back of the car and LOOK at your rear brakes. If you can't tell the difference between discs and drums, then you're probably not smart enough to understand this answer.

Look at the rear wheels, if you see rotors and calipers, they are not drum brakes.

They are drum brakes.

You can tell by looking through the openings in your rims. If you see the disc and caliper. It's disc. Drum brakes are enclosed by the drum.
