How to locate a water leak in my 2005 honda civic car?
I have a water leak on the driver's side and no clue where the leak is. Took it to an auto body shop and they checked all the rubber seals around windshield and doors. He found no rust and all seals were good. He pressured water over the car for several minutes and found no leak. When it rains my carpet is wet so I know there's a leak somewhere. Next step is the Honda dealer? I started noticing this leak after Pep Boys replaced a brake grommet. Would that have anything to do with this leaking problem?

Happened to me once, has not happened since even with heavy rain.
For me some water made it's way through the fresh air vents even though they were closed and well, water should never get in there anyway but it did. Your footwell has air vents, that's where the air comes out when you select the A/C to go down. Could be where the water is entering if it's not the seals.

I have a 1000l take of water attached to a Honda WB30 Water Pump 1100 LPM 80mm Outlet, alongside a heavy duty hose I use to water window boxes around London. When I park up the van and have to cross the road to water certain jobs, the pipe is occasionally temporarily blocked when a car runs over the hose pipe. This sends water back to the pump, and eventually breaks it. What can I do to stop the water/ pressure breaking the pump?
- Is the 1985 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft compatible with the 86-2001 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft? I have a 1985 CR 500 and the water pump gear shaft broke. It has been discontinued from Honda, and no one else has it. It is a metal gear. The one's for the 1986-2001 CR 500 are plastic. If I have to use plastic, I will. However, I prefer not to. If anyone knows where I can get the OEM 1985 Honda CR 500 gear shaft, I would forever be grateful.
- Honda Jazz won't take water in the water fill cap? I recently purchased a Honda jazz 2005 mode from a garage, top condition. I'm going on a long journey tomorrow and routinely like I would with any car I checked the water and oil levels. (cold engine). Water level was halfway between min and max so I attempted to top it up with coolant mix, however, as in poured the h20/coolant mixture into the water tank it just came straight back up as though the tank was full, although I can see it's only half full. Any ideas?
- Water leak 98 honda civic ek? I've had a leak in the passenger side floor now for some time and can't figure it out. Its not the sun roof or anywhere near the glove box. Its just the floor going from the front passenger and all the way back, basically just one hole side is soaked anytime it rains. Anybody have any idea/has anyone had the same problem? Also the boot area is damp as well.
