How to replace the turn signal in a 1984 Honda Civic? - 1

Added (1). I have a haynes manual and its worthless, it says "Remove the two screws and pull the whole thing out… When in fact, even in the haynes manual PICTURE, it has FOUR screws because the other two are mounted to the entire headlight cover assembly and nowhere in the whole thing does it say how to remove that.

Go figure it out. On my 91 Civic, the turn signal assembly is attached to the vehicle wiring by a socket.

If you can't figure it out simply by looking at it (or, at most, performing a simple Internet search) - you probably shouln't be working on cars. It's really not that hard and some people just don't have the skills. Just buy a factory service manual if you really think you need the help.

Well considering you are ASE certified mechanic, you could not be an *** and try to help. If it is so simple to fix you could just help out. I'm pretty sure the poster has already preformed an internet search and tried it themselves. I did an internet search on it myself just now to try and help without going to the ends of the earth mind you, and I wasn't able to find anything. I hope someone will be able to assist you in your endeavor! Sorry I can't be more help.
