How to replace transmission fluid on 08 honda civic ex?

I have an 08 Honda civic ex with 60,000 and the service minder b13 came out. I wanted to know for service minder 3 which is transmission fluid service, if I needed to:
-flush transmission or just replace fluid
-change a transmission filter
-what transmission fluid to use
-how much

Check with the Honda dealer for their recommendations. Last week I heard a automobile call in show. They said each manufactor has their own guidelines. Some companies say flush others say to just change it out.

Any auto parts store will tell you everything to know for free and sell you the correct fluid…

All that information is in the owners manual

Honda's are drain and fill only. There's a filter but you would have to take the transmission apart to get to it. As far as fluid must use fluid recommended for Honda's if not can get harsh shifts

+1 to bo's answer.
Honda ATF is called DW-1. In my Element, the drain plug was installed extremely tight. Note that in most Hondas, unlike other makes, you check the transmission dipstick after driving for a good while, turning motor off, and waiting 60 seconds (see owner's manual). Search for civic owner's group forums, and you might be able to find instructions on changing fluid.
