How to turn a car radio on without turning on the keyless ignition?
I bought a 2015 honda civic that has a keyless ignition system. As it only has one button to start/stop the car, I can't figure out how to turn the radio on without turning on ignition.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated
Press, but do not hold, the ignition button.
I didn't know I can do that.
- My 1997 Honda CR-V won't start. It clicks rapidly when I turn the ignition? I know it could be a bad battery, but what else could be causing this? Maybe a bad starter or altinator?
- My car doesn't have a radio. Will any car radio work for it? I have a 94 nissan Pathfinder and when i purchased it, it didn't have a radio. My girlfriend has a junk 98 honda civic and the radio in it still works. Will it work inside of my car? It's the stock radio. Be gentle i don't know anything about cars
- How to replace (remove) a broken ignition cylinder without it being on 1 in order to be pulled out? My Honda Civic 97 automatic was recently stolen and recovered but my ignition cylinder was damaged. My key won't enter all the way but my open door sound goes off as if there was contact with the key. The cylinder won't turn in order for me to be able to remove it. Any valuable information is great appreciated, thank you
- Can you put in an after market radio without dash kit? I got an after market radio for Christmas and I asked my uncle to install it he s real experienced with car and modding. I've been looking at vids of people installing the radios and they all use the dash kits. Mine hasn't came in the mail and he s installing it tomorrow so I was wondering can he install without dash kit? Is that possible (btw I'm asking not him) and it's a 2001 Honda Civic. A double din radio is being installed.
