How to wire in a b16a engine into a 1990 civic dx?
I have a 1990 Honda civic and purchased a b16a engine. I have basically the entire swap done just having problems with the wiring. I took the d15 engine harness and switched it to mpfi already. But I'm having trouble with the b16 distributor wiring, the intake plugs, and the VTEC.
Will these links help? I don't do engine swap but feel your pain:

After reading a few sites it seems the original harness should have worked.
The distributor that fits that harness may have worked to.
But I'm not there.

- Can a 16.L engine fit into a 1998 Honda Civic LX? (before doing engine swap)? I had an blown motor on my 1998 Honda Civic LX, I have new spark plugs, distributor cap and some other items, however, since the old spark plugs happened to be melted as well, I have no option other to do a engine swap. I've been doing some research, and it seems like I only have the 1.6L engine as a option. By the way, the blown motor is a D16Y8, and is automatic.
