I have a 2000 Honda civic si. I'm having brake problems?
I have replaced the calipers, rotors, and pads. I have also replaced the master slave cylinder. The brakes do work and I can bring the car to a stop. But the pedal is almost to the floor until the pads make contact with the rotor. I bled the master cylinder and brakes correctly. Fluid comes out of all bleeders so that is not the issue. Does anyone have any ideas?
You have air getting into the lines from somewhere. Go back through everything again before the brake pedal hits the floor while you try to stop.
You have describe the way you have bled the brakes, because that is the most likely issue.
Leak in the system somewhere?
I have bleed the brakes correctly 4 times now. There's no leak because I have not lost any fluid nor do I hear a air leak when I press on the brakes.
- Having some Honda problems any ideas? I was riding my 2006 crf 250r and it just had a top end rebuild and it was running fine for a while but I just took it out a couple days ago and after riding for about an hour the compression in the kickstart got really stiff and a couple times it backfired when I kick started it and I couldn't start if at all. Any ideas what it could be?
