I have a 2009 Honda Civic just got a new battery I jus?
When I start my car it makes these tic sounds and it seems like the battery keeps draining itself so I have to jump start it and it runs, I took it to autozone to check if it had any problems with it and the alternator and checked out fine and everything else I just don't know what the problem can be
Check to battery cables themselves, and if the connections are tight…
See if the battery is being drain when the car is off. Less than 0.05 amps would be good because you have like a clock of whatever still running when off.
Ticking on start up usually refers to hydraulic lifters being bad from bleeding down overnight or sticking because the oil and filter were not changed every 3,000 miles.
All Honda's have a common problem with valves getting tight and the valves need adjusting every 60,000 miles.
If the starter is grinding on the flywheel when you try to start the motor replace the starter.
- I have just changed the battery in my honda cbr1000rr after one month and it not firing up? It a honda cbr1000rr 2008 model. The bike's battery has been dead for more then a month… And it was parked in the sun for two months. The battery is good now but the bike won't start. It just keeps trying but it doesn't.
- Bought a 1985 Honda inspector kid told me it needed new battery but started with jump got new battery and it was dead next day? Pretty sure its the alternator just wanted some second opinions also I got the bike for 600 dollars you guys think thats a good deal
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Got a car, no life and wanna drive away to somewhere new and start a new life but how? I'm older, my parents are getting elderly. My sibling is in rehab and my family onlycares about him. I have no friends, no kids and i'm tired of living in my state for 35 years. Seeing the same ppl, same buildings, ugh. I just bought a new honda and honestly i just wanna get in my car and go. I have no money tho and only have a associate degree. What should i do? Apply to a college out of state? Just leave?
