I have a 98 honda civic ex automatic i need a new engine does anybody know were i can get one for cheap?
What are the costs? And how much is it usually for a engine swap?
Call junkyard. Will have to stay with the same engine. Car-part.com
It's a popular car so you will easily find one in the junk yard, eBay or online ads for cheap.
You are looking at around $400-$800 for a swap, depending on the shop. Engines are around $250-$1000 depending on condition and miles.
Hmotorsonline is pretty reliable and never give lemons. Engine swaps aren't very hard if you know your way with your tool box.
