I'm in the market to by a new Car?
So I'm looking to get a 09 Honda civic si roughly about 13k I got a 1.5k down payment. My question is do you think it's a smart idea to buy a car I'm 19 had my Job for only 7 months. I have a 2002 Mustang but it is unreliable.
If you need it, buy it. If you can live without it (transportation - fixing your old car.etc) then don't buy it.
If i were you, i would try fixing my current one first. If it turns to be a lemon and you must get that car you refereed to, be sure to find a cosigner (AKA parents!) because that would make a huge difference in your interest rate. Be sure to avoid a loan directly from the dealer, banks are cheaper. Going to a dealer with an approved loan is giving you a huge advantage in negotiating. And always negotiate the base price of the car not the loan amount or the loan period.
If you or your parents are enrolled in a credit union, it would much cheaper than banks to get the loan from and of course a way cheaper than the dealer.
It may be cheaper to have the Mustang repaired. Have a mechanic thoroughly inspect it and give you reasonable estimate to make it reliable so you can hold off on the car purchase for another couple of years.
- What is the best twincharger in the market? I have a Honda Crosstour V6 and I wanted to install a twincharger (both super and turbocharger) to my engine. I know the cost will be close to 10,000 for total purchase and installation. I'm not an expert but if you are, can you answer this: Can my engine (Earth Dream's V6) engine have the capability to have both chargers installed on to it?
- What are the top 5 or so used cars/trucks under $3000 in a CA market? Another words, what are the easiest or most sought after i.e. Camry and Honda are probably two of them, can you name others? Would appreciate if your responses is backed up with experience, i.e. Someone in the business, salesman etc. Or actual knowledge first hand. Nobody is reading the question and answering it…
- In the market for a sport bike? Should I go with a 2008 Honda cbr or a 2011 gsxr 600. I'm looking for a bike with a comfortable feel and a daily Commuter when I do t want to drive to work. Also speed is a plus but I'm not looking to race somebody everyday when they pull up next to me. I've heard Hondas are reliable and that gsxr 600 are the best and faster. 08 cbr $6700 11 gsxr $8700
- Got a car, no life and wanna drive away to somewhere new and start a new life but how? I'm older, my parents are getting elderly. My sibling is in rehab and my family onlycares about him. I have no friends, no kids and i'm tired of living in my state for 35 years. Seeing the same ppl, same buildings, ugh. I just bought a new honda and honestly i just wanna get in my car and go. I have no money tho and only have a associate degree. What should i do? Apply to a college out of state? Just leave?
