If i turbo charge a 2012 honda civic how much mire hp can it handle before exploding?

I was thinking at most 50hp

Depends on which engine it has. In 2012 there were multiple engine options. Rule of thumb, for adequate margin of safety so you don't trash your internals, do not run more than 8 pounds of boost which will net you about 30-32 extra horsepower with a tuning kit.

  • Is this 600cc too much to handle? I used to ride my 80 then 125 alot when i was younger but I haven't rode a motorcycle in years. Now id like to get back into riding and i found a 1995 honda xr600r that is street legal and an overall nice bike in my price range. I'm just curious if this bike might be too powerful to relearn on. I'm 21 6'5 and 215lbs so i figured i would need a big bike
  • I want to turbo charge my car? I have a 1988 Honda prelude 2.0s. I want to boost but don't know if it would be worth it. It has 235,00 miles and has just had regular maintence, nothing serious has happened to the engine and it still Ru s great. Any advice would be great.
  • I want to turbo charge my honda prelude but? Ok I got a 96 prelude and I'm looking to turbo charge it but i don't know what turbos will fit I've heard of t3 t4 turbos are those good I'm really new to it(I'm 17) but does anyone know good turbos to buy for this car and are those cheap turbo kits good or are they trash thanks
  • How do i convince my dad that the 2013 Honda Fit can handle a 400-km roadtrip without a problem? He keeps insisting that pickup trucks are better for roadtrips just because they have bigger engine and that the Honda Fit engine will overheat well my car hasn't shown any sign of possible engine failures Well I say that subcompact cars are better for roadtrips because they are more fuel efficient…
