Are importing parts for the civic expensive?
Importing anything is expensive. Shipping, customs, brokerage fees, taxes.
Of course, you don't have to import anything for the Civic. They build them in Ontario, and genuine and aftermarket parts are available in Canada. The FUD people spread about 'imports' being expensive to maintain is decades out of date.
