Infinit g35 coupe or honda civic si coupe?

Hello i'm from california and going to turn 21 in july and wanted to buy my first car. I'm deciding between the infiniti g35 coupe (05-07) model or the honda civic si coupe (07-09) model. I want the g35 because everyone has a honda civic si and I want to stand out but I want the honda civic si because it is very reliable which is probably why alot of people have one. Will the infiniti last me enough to enjoy it or will it just be a waste of money… Please help

G35
Pros: bigger engine, faster, stands out more, luxury/sporty, has a lot more torque and power,
Cons: uses more gas, more expensive to maintain
Civic SI
Pros: still fun to thrash around, good on gas, Revs to 8000 RPM
Cons: less torque,
Any car will last as long as it's well maintain.

  • Is it odd to trade in an Infiniti g35 for a vehicle like a Mazda cx-5? I drove a Mazda CX-5 for a little while and I liked it. Nice and high up, plenty of cargo capacity, and fun zippy handling that reminded me of an old Honda that I had a long time ago. While the G35 is much faster and probably corners better I still kind of preferred the handling and feel of the CX-5, and I prefer the features available in the CX-5 along with the spacious cargo capacity and the ride height. So is it odd if I were to sell my g35 and get a Mazda CX-5?
  • Will and 99 Honda civic lx sedan engine fit in a 99 Honda civic ex coupe? I recently crashed my Honda civic lx and busted the whole frame. The body shops estimated $2,500-$3,500 to fix the damage. I found someone on craigslist selling a 99 civic ex coupe but the motor is messed up so their selling it for $1000 if I were to buy it would I be able to switch my 99 civic lx engine to the 99 civic ex model without any major complications or modifications?

  • Which car is better 2016 Honda Civic coupe or 2016 Hyundai Genesis coupe? I'm looking for a new car and these two are the only cars that fit my budge as a sporty car. The Honda Civic has a v cylinder engin and Genesis has v6. Civic offers Apple car play whereas Genesis does not… They both have many pors and cons to them and I can't decide which one is better and worthwhile… Please I need opinions!
