Is my exhausted/muffler bad?
I replaced the end part of my muffler a few months ago due to a crack. Recently it started to make a loud noise like it did when it had the crack. Its only been a few months, how could it have broke that fast!
Plus, on and off for over a year now my cause has been over heating problems. Its summer in miami and it is extremely hot. My car has been over heating so much! Especially if i'm on the expressway going fast. Its so annoying! I've checked the radiator a billion times and it doesn't have a leak.
Could i have a bad exhausted thats making my car over heat?

- Muffler Deleting a stock 08 grand prix good or bad? I have a stock 3.8 V6 Grand Prix and want it to sound like a stronger car and not a Honda would a muffler delete be good or will I have to do more like a resonator delete too. And if I were to do the muffler delete what would be the cheapest most effective way to do it. I'm on a very tight budget so preferably DIY.
- How to make my 2007 honda crv louder by exhaust/muffler? I have a 2007 honda crv and I'm not aloud to get a car, so I gotta do something to it haha, I wanna make it nice and loud to roll with a little more style. If I wanna make it sound good when accelerating, do I need a whole new exhaust system or could I do this with just a new muffler. And what are your suggestions for what brand I should get.
- Does a broken muffler/exhaust cause a check engine light to turn on on a 97 Honda civic? Recently my muffler broke and snapped off my 97 honda civic and a day later my check engine turned on, i just got the muffler welded back on. Was the broken muffler the cause of the check engine light to turn on? Will it turn off now that i got the muffler welded back on?
- Black stuff on my bumper around muffler? I have a 1998 honda civic dx, we just rebuilt the motor, my car has lack of power which I considering it the distributor because as I'm picking up speed it cuts out power like it's not getting enough spark to about 3000rpms then picks up instantly. Do you have any suggestions? Am I wrong about the lack of power and it cutting out about I being my distributor? And what could cause the black stuff on my bumper around my exhaust
