Is the bmw 325 1987 (e30) a reliable car to race?
I first was planning to buy a honda civic with a goal of make it to 250HP, but I really don't want to be like all of my friends and be one of the bunch. I really like the e30 so what do you think?
It all depends on what/where you are racing… If you r racing against newer sports cars on the street, than no it is a horrible idea all around.
If you are tracking against similar year/power cars than it is a decent ride. Lots of people track e30 for fun.
Also look into the e30 motor swap with a e36 motor, very popular "upgrade".

- Where is the oil meashurments for my 1987 honda hurricane? I own a 1987 Honda hurricane and recently I noticed that my enjine gets really hot doing local drives that tells me many there's not enough oul in it so I took it to my mechanic to give it the works and he gouldent find the little eye glass more did the top coe with a dipstick can anyone help me out
- WHAT STREET RACE CAR SHOULD I GET? I'm a girl and i'm really into cars. I'm getting a car and don't know what i should get. Can someone give me some examples of some good cars i can totally modify under 8k… No lame hondas please or rx8 since they break down too easily. I preffer a manual over a automatic. I was looking mostly at the wrx sti subies. But what are some others that look good. I don't want anything too old or ugly looking. What do you think about an acura integra? Or a rx7?
- 1987 honda hurricane firing but not running? Was riding it today going 55 started dogging on me then died, carburetors? Just bought the bike so don't know too much
- Is a BMW E30 90-91 a good first car/ project car? I'm looking into getting my first car but also want something to build up and make my own. So far i want a rwd import. No Hondas. Any suggestions?
