Is the Honda Civic Type R really that powerful?
Today this Civic type R was revving me and my friend we were in his Chrysler 200S 2016 at a red light.
They both floored it and my friend won he got to a higher speed much faster than the Type R and the Honda driver was trying his best.
Is the Type R overrated in speed?
No, but BOTH drivers are overrated in intelligence!
The type R SHOULD have won. If the 200S was a V6, the power is similar but the type R wold be lighter. My guess is the 200S was an auto and the type R a manual. It takes less skill to get the best from an auto.
- I'm 5' 10 135lb and was wondering if a 93 Honda cr250 2 stroke is too powerful for me? I've ridden dirt bikes several times before. And will be using the bike for backyard bashing and desert ridding.
- What engines can I directly swap my D16y8 Honda motor for? It has to be more powerful and easy to swap? I have a civic with a d16y8 and its served me well but what motor could I easily swap in? I want to use the same gearbox but I don't mind swaping the ECU. The easier the swap and the more HP the better. Would prefer to use the stock manifold and intake etc.
- Is the Honda Civic Type R's engine more powerful than most V6 engines? My family islooking for a Sedan but with lots of power since we're all heavy. My dad is thinking of a Type r because it has a turbo engine, but my mom is thinking Chrysler 200 because it has a V6 engine. Both produce roughly the same amount of horsepower.
- Is the Honda Civic 2005 type R the same as the 2005 civic si? I know they are both ep3 body style. But did America sell the type r? Or is every 2005 civic ep3 here a si? And what's the difference between the ep2 and 3. And how hard is it to get a si with under 75,000 nowadays Thank you.
