Jeep Wrangler Lovers

My boyfriend has a Wrangler Sport Hard Top 2 Door. It is stock. We have had it for less than a year. I'm looking to get him some accessories for it for Christmas. I was interested in getting him a 3.5 inch lift kit but I think I have settled for a front guard due to the price differences. I need some suggestions on what guards to look into and what exactly I need. I drive a honda civic and know NOTHING about jeeps.

Does he use the jeep to go wheeling or is it just and urban assault vehicle? If the latter any cheap front guard is fine - if he wheels you will want something tougher and that does not interfere with his angle of approach (doesn't hang down in front) and strong enough to push small trees down or push branches aside.

I would like something I can attach a small trailer to and haul my two quads. I've been looking at the 2011 jetta tdi and the 2005 wrangler (4.0).
