K20A3 swap into a 2004 Honda Civic EX-EM2. 4 Speed Automatic Transmission?
I'm seeking information on this swap. I'm looking forward to swapping my D17 for a K series engine. I wanna swap in a K20A3 into my EM2. I've been doing some research and my car is a 4 speed automatic. And the K20 is 5 speed automatic. Thats one of the many things I think I'll hit when trying to do this swap. Can anyone help me out with more info on what I'm gonna need if I do this swap.
Along with all wiring harness's and computer. Mounts will be different, axles, more than likely some small modes due to mount locations. Not a weekend job and have that part car available you'll need to go back to it a few times

- Transmission going out on friend's 2004 Impala. Is it possible to install a manual transmission taken from a 1992 Honda Civic in this car? Not worth replacing trans on a car this old, but the engine and everything else are still perfect. My friend was able to get a free manual trans from a 1992 Honda Civic. But i'm not sure whether or not you can use a trans from a different vehicle
- Honda owners: is there a difference in top speed between 4 speed and 5 speed element? My car is an 03 auto awd ex. I'm just curious, what top speed before drag effect comes into Affect? Can it achieve over 100 mph? I've heard that it can do 1-10 but I'm not sure whether that's for the 5 speed or the automatic bc the extra gear makes a difference in my opinion.

- 2001 Honda Civic EM2 swap? I currently have a D17A1 with 181,102 miles. My car is going to the **** can. I recently noticed that my car is burning oil (full syn) I checked for leaks, but its not enough to make it leak when I have to change my oil 1525 mi short. What kind of affordable engine and tranny swap should I get. This will be my daily driver once fixed. Just for an FYI, if it matters; I'm a Civic JDM Enthusiast.
