Looking at used cars with high km / mileage 2008 honda civic with 370000 kms or 2008 jeep patriot with 270000 which would you choose?
Civic one owner since new
Neither. Buying a high mileage vehicle is a big risk.
Honda with 230k miles is a risk. Jeep with 168k is a risk too.
Probably the civic IF you get a 2 thumbs up from an independent mechanic.
Do not buy either without having it checked first.
And, i would look for lower mile cars. 19 months ago, I sold a 94 Buick Century with 89k, a cracked windshield but legal and a broken AC for $1595. Something like that would beat either.
The Honda.
- What would you do if a lady around 30-37 told you that you were useless and would never amount to anything? She's a well dressed white lady with a brand new Honda SUV and she has a daughter that looks about 12 that is also well dressed and the girl is being rude and both are being very rude to the guy at the counter at Subway. Would it be wrong to curse out the old witch who tried to start a fight and cursed out the subway worker and you?
- Which of these two people movers would you choose? I'm shopping for a 7 seater vehicle for the family, I'm on a strict budget and my options are these two: 1. Mitsubishi Grandis Chariot 1998 ($3650 asking) http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/mitsubishi/auction-727044065.htm 2. Honda Odyssey 2000 ($3200 asking) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=725329092 Super greatful for any feedback on this.
- Looking into buying a used car. Which cars should I avoid and which cars should I pursue? I'm looking into the following Honda Civic years 2005-2010 Honda Fit years 2007-2010 Toyota Corolla years 2005-2010 Toyota Yaris years 2007-2010 Toyota Echo years 2005
- How much can I sell a 1999 Honda CRV with a busted engine and 270000 mi for? All other components work, with exception of locking mechanism haven't to be activated manually and a broken radio casing (radio still works).
