- How to start my car with my starter completely dead? I have a 2007 Honda Civic. I'm sure my starter is completely dead or shot. I just need to start it one more time to get it up to the mechanic. - Honda Civic vehicle speed sensor (VSS)? The speedometer on my car has stopped working after having the clutch replaced. The problem seems to be that the vehicle speed sensor was connected incorrectly and has now been damaged/burnt out. I need a replacement sensor but I'm struggling to find the correct part online or a part number. I'm in the North East UK. Could anyone with a bit of knowledge help find the part for me? The car is a Mk.8 2009 Honda Civic 2.2 i-ctdi SE, 6-speed manual transmission.
