No power is coming through the wires that are suppose to join up to a stereo in my 2002 Honda civic?

I tried installing a stereo into my car yester day and I found out there's no power even coming through the big red wire or any of the other power wires. I was thinking maybe a fuse got blown? Or they got loose somehow? Could you tell me where the fuses inside the car are. And could you tell me where the other end of these power wires go? I know it's probably obvious to the batter but I thought that it maybe led somewhere else? Please help. It's very annoying and I have gone like 2 weeks without a stereo. The first time I had a friend Hook the stereo up and they wires did spark which meant there was power but the stereo sti wasn't working. So I imagine a fuse was blown. Also I just think the wiring is screwed up in my car which is whi the stereo didn't work in the first place.

You have no idea where the fuse in your car is? I'd suggest you get your stereo installed by a car audio professional and have them do the installation for you.

Tell you where the other end of the wires go to, that would be impossible unless you had a wiring diagram of your car from the manufacturer.

There are usually 2 fuse box. One located under the hood of your car and one inside your car usually near the driver's side or under the dash.

You are on the correct side though, a fuse might have blown somewhere. Wires sparking is a hazard and can cause a fire. That's why you need to always disconnect the NEGATIVE battery terminal on your car every time you do any kind of car audio installation. You don't want wires sparking and fuses blowing out now do you?

Like I said, take your car to a car audio professional and have them do the installation for you.
