Not all power locks are working?
I have a 2000 honda civic. The drivers side and the left rear lock works. But the passenger side and the right rear side doesn't work. What could be the problem? And how much will it cost to fix?
Check all fuses in the smart junction box and battery junction box.
Bad switches, bad wiring, loose harness, or bad actuators.
- My 2010 honda civic's armrest is broken. It's not the latch that locks the armrest, but it's the hinge that makes it go up and down? The entire back hinge of the armrest broke off so now the back of it is exposed which is a safety hazard and just looks terrible. I want to get it fixed, but I have no idea if it can be fixed or where to take it. If anyone could give me any ideas on what kind of shop could fix this for me that would be great. I feel like I'm a burden being a girl who calls around town all of the time trying to get car issues fixed because I don't know exactly who specializes in these things.
- How to install aftermarket alarm with power door locks? My car has power door locks however I don't think '02 Honda Civic LX came with the keyless entry module built in. I want to put in a keyless entry so that I don't have to lock/unlock the doors with the key. Isn't there something underneath the steering column that I can plug a "keyless receiver to? Since I have power door locks would I still need to do wiring of some sort? Just so you know, I'm somewhat handy and would want to save money doing it myself.
- Why does my car have no power at all? I was at the store parking lot and was ready to leave. I tried to start the car. At the first click the dashboard lights came on but when I tried to turn it over the power just turned off ( all power lights, clock, etc.). Thought it was a bad battery and had it jumped start to no avail. Bought new batteries at AutoZone and still nothing.
- Power locks don't work on both passenger side doors in 2001 Honda Accord? When i lock/unlock all the doors flicking the switch up and down. Only the doors on the driver side unlock and lock. What can i do to fix this? What replacement parts do i need?
