I want to buy a new car what do you think?

I want to buy a 2019 Honda civic coupe. I have seen some for $21k. Know i make about $1200 a month but i can put a down payment of $5,000. Know i still live with my parents so i have no other bills. Know i don't need a car like right know as i was fine taking the bus for a year after my old car was hit at night while parked. But i sorta miss having a car because if i want to go somewhere further i have to take like 3 buses. Thankfully to work i only have to take 1 bus so its not a huge deal. What do you think about buying a new car like this?

Why won't my car warm up fast?

I have a 2016 Honda civic, which i recently purchased.

As soon as i start the car the RPM need goes up above 1,000. After 5 minutes or so the needle drops below the 1000 mark, but the temp needle won't move. The 2018 malibu we have doesn't have this issue, takes about 3-5 before the needle starts moving,

Could it be that the thermostat is stuck open and not letting the engine get to operating temp fast or is it normal for it to take a long time? I've never owned a Honda before so i don't know if its normal.

Once it warms up, the gauge doesn't drop fast, stays at a constant unless i don't use it for a while and it cools down.

Why do uneducated people usually date other uneducated people?

Like some hoodlum Mexican woman will fall madly in love with some cholo gang banger guy with face tattoos who's killed 10 people and works at McDonalds and thinks his primary aspiration in life is to smoke weed and collect air Jordan's and put a stupid spoiler on his 1995 Honda Civic. What's the attraction?

When buying a used car, briefly how much money is negotiated?

I'm looking for a used car, and was wondering how much money is okay to be negotiated.
Right now I'm looking at a clean status 2017 honda civic (50,000km)and the listed price is 21000 after tax.
How much should I be able to negotiate down to? I don't want to low ball the price.

Added (1). I'm in Vancouver, Canada by the way

My cars engine (00 Honda Civic lx D16Y7) is about to go out and my friend is selling me a B16 high compression build engine. My question is?

If you've ever gone from a single cam to a dual overhead cam could you tell the difference in power. Was it noticeable to you when you first got on it. My single cam has always treated me well so I've never had to get another car. Now 4years later the engine is about to give and I'm wandering if I do the swap it it'll actually be worth it. The single cam feels sorta slow in the highway but I've never driven a B series so I'm trying to see if the power is noticeable enough to make the swap fee worth it.

Is the 10th Gen Civic all that good?

That is the car that I see the most on the road.

I have a friend that owns the 2017 Civic EX and the 2019 Civic LX. I have been in both and it feels luxurious.

They both tell me they got it due to pricing and reliability, and that Honda has really taken care of them as customers

What should I do about a garage that refuses to stand behind a parts warranty?

Five months ago I had new front brake pads and rotors installed (Honda Civic) at a local non-dealer garage. Now they are making grinding noise when the brake pedal is applied. A trip back to the garage revealed the rotors were warped. The invoice said they were warrantied for two years, but the garage said the warranty is with the manufacturer and for parts only. I would have to take it up with them to recoup money it will take to replace these parts and I'd still have to pay for labor.
