97 Honda Civic surges/accelerates on its own when AC is on?

I have a 2012 Honda Civic and I bought it used but no spare key. Is it possible to get just a plain key with out a remote for cheap?
My car right now has the battery light on when I drive it. When I step on the brakes, the light disappears. What is happening and what should I do to solve this problem? It's the Honda Civic 1997.
I have a 2005 Honda Civic lx. It was overheating and brought it to my mechanic. He said the thermostat was sticking and replaced it. He also checked the head gasket and fluid and both were good. After about 4 days, my cars temp garage climbed all the way to the top. I turned the heat on to lower the temp and it blew only freezing cold air. It finally started to blow hot air 10 minutes after I had it on and the temperature gauge fell back to normal. My mechanic ran tests to see if I had a leek but didn't find anything. They had it for 2 weeks and couldn't get it to overheat no matter what they tried. Now here we're a week and a half later and it did it again. I was driving home on the highway and the temp climbed all the way up and had to pull over. Shut my car off and restarted it after a few and blasted the AC. The temp fell back to normal for about 30 min. In the last 10 min stretch it began to heat up again. I pulled over, waited for a bit and it came back down. It stayed down until I pulled into my house. I took it out for a short 2 mile drive and it stayed normal. When I got home and parked and tried the heat, it was freezing air. Not sure what to do since this keeps happening and is not consistent. Any suggestions? (Keeping in mind I have like zero car mechanic experience/knowledge)
How much would that cost?
Hai guys I'm in need of a suggestion please. I have an idea of buying a preowned car and by budget is around 4 lakh rps. And now one of my friends cousin wants to sell his honda civic 2009 model and it mileage is 19000 km. And the price of the car is just 350000 lakh rupees.
Should I buy tis civic?
Why tis car is priced so low I don't know the reason why he wants to sell his car!
And how abt the cost of maintainence for civic?
Any suggestions please thanks in advance
2002 Honda Civic lx over heating problem?
I have roughly $3,400 to spend. I'm trying to find a Honda Civic but all of the ones in my price range have like 200,000 miles on them. Is mileage really a big deal?
Does my 1993 Honda Civic del Sol have a mass airflow sensor? - 1
Added (1). According to a diagram from Autozone, the car has a manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP) and an intake air temperature sensor (IAT), but no mass airflow sensor is shown.
I'm thinking about spraying a top-end cleaner into the induction system (after the air cleaner, before the throttle body), but the cleaner warns never to use upstream of a mass airflow sensor. I'm reasonably confident there's not MAF sensor, but just want to be sure.
I had the timing belt and water pump replaced at 121k miles 2 weeks ago. Everything fine. On Friday, I was sitting and the temp Gauge was all the way on hot. I turned off the car. There was a small oil seep before and then when I popped the hood there, it was worse. Called my mechanic, he said he purged the radiator and all. I let it cool and drove it home and it would get hot and then cool down and then get hot and cool down, though I had to stop 2 times because I was scared it was too hot. The oil looks fine, the coolant doesn't shoot out when I take off the cap and run the car. So I buy a thermostat and take it to him and I run the car for about 20 minutes, drive it around and just let it sit and idle. No overheating. Could a thermostat do that? Why was it getting hot and then cooling down? It mainly did it when I was sitting at a light. Why did the oil leak go from seeping to leaking? I left the car there and he will call me Monday to see what's up
