Stock size is P185/65R14 but I would like to go up two rim sizes. I would like to know what would be the best tire size be so that it doesn't affect my speedometer/ odometer drastically. I live in Southern California so if you could recommend which would be best that would be great!
I'm looking for a fun commuter car for under $30K. I can buy a fairly loaded Honda Si for about $25K and a bare bones Nissan 370Z for $28K. Both are brand new. Which is better for the long term?
I have not decided which model of either. But those are the cars I'm considering.
So my car wouldn't start this morning, mot even the power locks. AAA came out and said it looks to only be a dead battery but, with the car still running, there was a loud sound like a pressure being released and a fog came out from under the car. My wife said it smelled like freon from the air conditioner. What could that be?
It just got a new battery this past December and brake pads this past week. My wife went to go somewhere and its completely dead… Even power locks don't work. What could be wrong?
I was on a small road trip the other weekend and I don't have a aux port so my friend changed the source to play some CD's. Well, it read an error about ejecting the disc. So I popped out the faceplate, popped it back in, and it wouldn't power on anymore. My cars a 2000 Honda Civic and the stereo is a Alpine CDA-9805. I checked all three of the fuses already, they all still look good. I've taken the dash apart and removed the radio already, unplugged it plugged it back in, still nothing. The fan doesn't even power on. I just need to find out if it's trash or I'm just missing something.
Recently I just gotten into a wreck, (last Thursday) and I'm only 16 driving my very first car. Now, due to my wreck, I fell asleep on the road behind the wheel. I was just on my way back home from playing basketball in town 45 minutes out from where I live. Imma try to make this story short but, eversince my wreck, my car is totaled, I drove into a ditch then hit an electric pole. I woke up and first I saw was my windshield, then my steering wheel which opened up to release an airbag but there was no airbag because the car has been wrecked in the past from past owners. I was hurt pretty bad, but now I've been home recovering slowly, all I think about is my parent's stressing out about money problems, me almost dying that day. And plus my car (2000 Honda Civic Ex) I was so attached too, everybody knew me by my car, I was about that Lowlife, Stance, Nice Expensive rims. I myself with my Dad built up my car. My first car. I loved my car… And that's all I think about now. I'm so emotionally stressed out that I cry myself to sleep every night overthinking about my parents and my car. I'm blessed to be alive today, and I thank God everyday whenever I wake up. I had big plans for my Honda Civic. Plus it's hard to let it go, i don't know if I have a problem or something but I would like to see if anybody could help me out with this situation. Or give me some tips that'll help me out throughout life. I miss my Honda Civic, and I wish I could go back into time and change the past.
I checked fuses under steering wheel and under the hood. I also went to a local junk yard and bought 3 window regulator motors, tried all 3 still dosent work. I was told that I would have to strip and rewire the "door harness". If I were to do this, what do I do? And where can I locate this? And do I have to do on both doors because driver and passenger both have window switches?
I have 159,110 miles on this car and out of no where its starts to buck. I first realized it going around 60 mph on cruise control and it would buck then the cruise control would disengage. Recently it starts to buck and jerk more often under load, at low rpms and speed. Its fine while idling but I noticed yesterday my rpm would move just a little bit while at idle but its not a lot. Mechanic did a battery test and it read good/low and told me that probably is the root of the problem but I really believe its my coils. I had one coil changed but my car wasn't bucking at all and also my car isn't throwing any code. Someone please help! Could it be bad gas?
Added (1). *One coil changed at the beginning of the year. Also had to replace my alternator twice.
Added (2). Spark plugs were changed also so it can't be those
