DWN: $3000, MTH: $145.72(will try to negotiate to $138.00). Both are on a 36 month lease. I'm also thinking about purchasing to buy at the end of the lease. Residual value is $13,188.00. Should I try to negotiate lower monthly payments?
Honda civic si- 2012 for a teenagers first car?
Okay so I have a 98 Honda civic 1.6 4 cylinder. Everytime I drive more than 15 minutes I can see smoke coming from right side of hood where my overflow tank is (reservoir) so I open it up and most of the smoke comes from black tube on the cap connected to the overflows tank. I HAVE already replaced radiator cap, radiator hoses (top and bottom) thermostat, fuel filter. I don't know what else I could try? What else could I buy to fix the problem? Buy a new radiator? Any suggestions help
Everyone at my high school either has a Honda civic or a Toyota corolla or a Prius. I like the way El Caminos look and I think God is trying to tell me something because, whenever I'm on the streets I randomly see El Caminos. It'd be cool because then when I turn 16 in 1 and a half years if my mom wanted to go to Ikea and buy a couch I could put it in the back of the El Camino or if I had a friend who could drive I'd go to an empty parking lot and ride in the back like I see people do in other pick up trucks.
I have a 1994 Honda civic. Sometimes when I start my car up, right after I start it up it like dies/shuts off. I then start it again and it's fine, every time it will start on the 2nd time, but it doesn't always shut off on the first time. Does anyone know why it does this?
I have a 93 Honda Civic DX. Everytime it rains, the inside of the car under the driver and passenger gets soaking wet. Is there a reason why this happens. Can anyone explain or help please.

My mother bought a 2012 Honda Civic (EU model) a month ago. Her old car was a 1.6 with a 5 speed manual, so I understand it's a little different for her coming into a 1.4 6 speed manual. But the problem she's having is that she can't get the power down when overtaking or going up hills. She keeps saying that her old car was faster which, spec wise, it's not. The Honda is slower to 60 by half a second, but it has 20 more horsepower and a higher top speed, so I don't think it's the car that's the problem. I personally think she's shifting too early, and I keep telling her to stay in gear for longer but she doesn't like going over 3,500 rpm, despite the fact that the car red-lines at 7,000. However I'm no expert. She has been driving a 5 speed all her life so I understand that it will be hard to get used to. She'll be used to the classic 1-10, 2-20 rule, but I know this doesn't really work with a 6 speed. Does anyone have any advice on a), how to drive a 6 speed and (b) how to get the best acceleration out of one?

My car has been progressively gotten worse over the past months. The engine will randomly shake and stop. When it does shake, the check engine light flashes and it starts smelling like exhaust fumes inside the car. If the engine is shaking and I try to accelerate, it acts really slow or unresponsive.
SIX months ago, I would start the car and take off and it would slow down and then go back to being responsive and normal. This at first only happened when the gas was past half full. I believe it slowly did it regardless of how much gas was in the tank.
TWO months ago, it started shaking, smelling like gas, and the check engine light was flashing. This really only happened on/off about the first ten minutes of it being on.
I had the distributor, spark wires and plugs, and the coils replaced. Now it doesn't matter how long the car is on. It shakes on and off. However, it would mostly shake if the gas tank was half empty.
I got the fuel injectors replaced, but with (better) used ones from a junkyard. I also put foam in the gas tank. I did this since there's some sort of relation with how much gas is in the tank.
My last attempt to fix it was getting a new gas cap which did nothing. Now, it seems to shake on and off regardless of how full the tank is.
ALSO, this shaking on/off comes and goes away for long periods of time. Of course, every time I would get something fixed and replaced, it would act fine. The check engine light has even turned off before. A week or two later
