Bought it a year ago. About 2 months ago it started feel like a slight rumble when going about 35mph. Occur maybe once every two weeks. If I let off the gas for a second then continued driving it went away. Guessing this may be the torque converter
Now within the past couple weeks, sometimes when I first start it up and shift from "P" to "D4" the shift indicator light on the dash will disappear and when I try to accelerate it feels very glitchy, car doesn't want to move at first for a split second when i push the accelerator and then it'll start moving and then the light will illuminate on "D4" like its supposed to, then after a few seconds it'll act up again with the light flickering on when the car gets moving and off when the transmission isn't engaging. Then after driving for 15 seconds or so the transmission will stay in gear and the light stays illuminated. (the light isn't flashing as if showing a code, but just flickering on and off as the transmission catches and then slips)Seems to happen mostly when cold outside. Car is sluggish and is revving higher before shifting gears, this happens all during driving, whether cold or warm.
I did a 3 quart ATF change with honda fluid, but problems are still there. The check engine light isn't on. I've read of people who replaced their throttle postion sensor or shift solenoid and that cured their issues, could one of those be my problem even if check engine light isn't on? Any ideas what the issue could be?
