Car smart guys I need your

I have a 98 honda civic lx. It has been cutting power when I'm driving. It'll be driving fine and then just cut out of power and the check engine light comes on just for a second and then it's fine.
It also doesn't start sometimes, not every time but every so often. It'll turn over but not start and the check engine light is on and after a little of trying it'll start and run just fine. The check engine light isn't on except for those times.
I have replaced the battery, alternator, idle control valve, and gotten a throttle body service done. And yet it still does it. I was thinking it could be the main relay.
Please help, these mechanics don't know wtf they're doing and I'm tired of spending money on it.

Which Honda civic gets better gas mileage 1995, or 2005?

Let me explain. One car is a 2 door honda civic-1995, DX. The engine is: 4-cyl 16V, 1.5 liter. 32 MPG and 102 HP.

The other Honda civic is: 4 door sedan, 4-cyl 1.7 liter. 30 MPG and 115 HP.

I went to the gas station today to fill up the tank and it was $33 (on the honda 2005). But when i used to fill the 1995 honda, it was $23! This was my first fill up w/the 2005 as I bought the car, and I didn't calculate the mileage, so I'm hoping for 250 miles, it's not $33 bucks each time! Anyone know?

*also gas prices were higher when I bought gas on the 1995, years ago.

Is it wrong if I do NOT support the troops?

I think that many of them are not educated enough to be making decisions about other peoples lives. It takes very little to be accepted into the military, I don't think it's something to be proud of at all and we should not be paying for their education afterwards. The military is essentially extremely expensive welfare, most soldiers I ahve met should not be aloud to operate a Honda Civic let alone a point and kill machine.

Help on air intake systems?

I need help on finding the right air intake for my car. I have a 98 Honda civic LX, it has an "air intake" on it already from the previous owners but it's the illegal one. I don't know if I should get a cold air, a short ram, or just find an original one.
I live in California if that makes a difference.

2001 Honda Civic Gas Smell?

2001 Honda Civic Gas Smell?

Added (1). My Honda Civic has a gasoline smell especially when the AC is on. I can smell it inside the car. I've checked for leaks and don't see any. A mechanic checked too and did not see a leak near the engine. I haven't noticed a difference in gas mileage at all. It smells stronger near the actual gas tank. Any ideas?

Which Honda Civic is right for me?

I'm about to get my first car, I'd like some suggestions. I haven't learned to drive manual yet, so it needs to be automatic. 4 cylinders, It also has to be 5k or under. I also want it to look nice, not too old looking. I wan't to be able to customize this car into JDM style. And if you can give me any more info on the car that'll be great!

How long does it take to drive stick In a car? (short and simple)?

I live in Cali and i just turned 18, i never learned to drive because i was never interested in a car, but now that i'm 18 i feel like a total loser waiting for the bus. My family has a car waiting for me, but its stick shift and a honda civic. Good condition and everything but i have never driven a car let alone a manual transmission car. I've only test drove a car twice and it was automatic. I really want to have my license by the beginning or mid November. Will i need more time or nah? I've read the manual but that isn't going to help with the actual car.

2001 Honda Civic no air blowing in cabin?

My air was blowing just fine yesterday but when I got in and started my car today I was not getting any air at all in the cabin meaning nothing was blowing. Could it possibly be a blower motor resistor? I did not check all fan speeds but will do so if needed
