How to trust a cars mileage when unplugging the speed sensor stops the mileage from ticking?

My speedometer just went out and I noticed the mileage stopped tacking. I did some research and found I just need to replace the sensor. Then after a few youtube videos, I realized that anyone could just unplug the sensor and drive 100k miles, plug it back in, and sell it for a good price. Is there a way to check the history of a cars driving without mileage add-on through its computer to avoid buying from a liar? I'm referring to 1998 honda civics.

Added (2). Are there certain things that need to be adjusted with a Hydraulic clutch? The reason I'm asking is because my older sister selling her car to me and told me that the clutch needs to be adjusted and the emission valve needs to be replaced.

Added (1). I've replaced the 40A fuse, I've replaced the master switch unit too. But even the new master switch unit doesn't roll the window down or up, on the passengers side front and rear.

Has anyone run into this situation and possibly let me know where the problem would be?

Reservoir fluid level goes down every time i fill it. Is this because the reservoir is overfilled?

Can anyone help me with this issue. I just bought a Honda Civic 2004 ex. I have a problem with the radiator fluid level. It always goes down and i have checked with compression test, there's no leakage and the radiator cap is good. But the other thing i'm concerned about is, the reservoir coolant tank is overfilled so will this effect the fluid level in reservoir. Every night i fill next day morning it goes down and there's no spills, is this because i overfill the reservoir with coolant.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

2009 honda civic ignition dirty?

Tried to turn key and it won't turn. The key itself has a some ware but am not sure if its the key or if ignition. To specify more when i took the key out there was some oil type liquid on it. Don't know if thats causing it not to turn. What should i do spray wd40 or replace key.

Does anyone think Sandy Hook School Shooting was fake to give Town of Newtown Connecticut a boost?

Back on December 14, 2012 the whole world put the focus on one big town in Connecticut and it was Newtown. Does anyone thinks this staged shooting was make the little childern and alduts who lived there famous. It seems like to me they want to be popular by the world. Also everything was copied from Columbine High School shooting because they say Adam Lanza was a tall 6 feet thin young man who was similar to description of one of columbine shooters. And they say that Adam Lanza had autism and he drove his mom honda civic all way to the school about 2-3 miles. And i seen that they photoshopped him from other people. Anyways do you think this was make Newtown Connecticut famous besides gun laws.

Added (2). For 2 years this couldn't be explained. Were the scientists and physiologist that should been studying and understanding Adam Lanza. Why would this 20 year old kill his own mom without a reason when she tried her best raising him for 20 years. Plus he is not strong enough to hold the rifles that was called on tv. Even state of Connecticut didn't have evidence of Adam Lanza think about it he is a phony. Were is the blood in the school the stories had been changed 500 times.

Why wouldn't i feel bad for those kids. If there was evidence that this shooting was real where is older brother Ryan Lanza. He didn't tell the media the timeline of him and his brother living together. Also there's no family picture of them together so everyone answering this stop trying say i'm sounding evil.

How to wire in a b16a engine into a 1990 civic dx?

I have a 1990 Honda civic and purchased a b16a engine. I have basically the entire swap done just having problems with the wiring. I took the d15 engine harness and switched it to mpfi already. But I'm having trouble with the b16 distributor wiring, the intake plugs, and the VTEC.

Should I put in work into my Honda?

Okay I have a honda civic 2001. It's four door and a four cylinder, and it also has 195k miles on it but Hondas can last long. I'm looking to put some work into it I want to buy a turbo, supercharger, front and back bumpers, side skirts, new tired and sport rims, new paint job (red or black) and tint the windows. Now is it worth putting all this money Into it bc remember it does have 195k miles and if it is worth it how much would all this cost? You don't have to give me the exact price just take a guess but please answer I really need to know if I should do it or not.
