I have a 1995 Honda Civic Hathcback. I just replaced my alternator and after i did that, my head unit will no longer turn on. The head unit itself still works, just not in my car, and none of my fuses are blown. My cigarette outlet still works and its on the same fuse as my head unit, which doesn't work. I didn't know if this was a common problem people have, but I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
2001 Honda civic lx humming noise - wheel bearing or transmission (bearing) issue?
Added (1). The car has about 145000 miles. The noise usually is observable above 20mph and appears to be a humming noise. The dealer seems to think its a wheel bearing or/and hub ($375-$500). An independent mechanic who test drove and inspected by raising it on the lift and a stethoscope like device thinks the noise might be related to transmission and suggested a transmission fluid flush. I think I had neglected to change/add transmission fluid at 120k as the manual recommended. How best to identify issue?
It appears to be in great condition… Clean CarFax, only one owner (he leased it and then he bought it afterwards). Has 107,000 miles on it, and he's asking $8500. Is it worth it?
Added (1). He said that they were all highway miles driving to and from work mainly
OK. I used to own a 2006 honda civic and it was impounded because i parked in a tow away zone. I couldnt take the car out because of my license. Its been about 2 or 3 months now since the car got impounded. I was trying to get my financial company to take the car out for me since i was still making payments on the vehicle. The financial company called me telling me that they spoke to the impound and they said they had released the vehicle already. It was not me obviously and they said they can't release information on who the car was released to. I kept trying and they gave me the same answer when i called them. Is it legal for them to sell a financed vehicle? Can i sue them for releasing my car?
I'm looking at a color that would be not so hard to maintain, and would hide scratches and dust easily.
I have a 2004 honda civic and my AC is pretty good. Like it blows cold air but once I hit about 45 mph the AC will actually turn from cold and get kinda hot and humid. It's weird. Then like once I return to about 40 mph it'll get cold again. Any suggestions? Perhaps include average cost to fix it?
I have like a 2004 (?) dodge caravan which I will be using as my parents other car, a Honda civic, is a manual and I can't drive that. Will it be harder for me? This is the car that I have been practicing in for about less than a year (aside from my instructors lessons in a normal small car). My parking is good and I can parallel park between cars, but my concern is that I heard they don't use cars but cones instead. Since my car is larger, I'm afraid I won't be able to see the cones as well as I would with a small car.
Has anyone here taken the test with a large car?
There's a link on google saying a Honda Civic(2014) can tow 1500 lbs. Is it possible? Any civic owners tow with their cars? I'm thinking about a light trailer to haul a lawn mower around.
I have a 627 credit score so the lowest APR I could get was 10.99% The car I bought was used a 2012 Honda Civic EX w/ 21k miles and it was listed at $16,500. I put in $1500 down and when I saw my financing details, my amount financed was $18,849 and my finance charge was $6,975. I now have to pay $338 for 72 months. I didn't want to go through with the deal but my dad said I couldn't do much with my credit score so I went through with it. Did I get screwed in this deal?
