Why is the Honda Civic so popular?

Everyday on the road, I see one specifically the 2016-2019 models that have the daytime running LED's and the cars front looks so aggressive.

But when I go inside there's like no space for back passengers but that is my only complain other than the 158 HP.

Why my car keep overheating?

I have a 05 honda civic ex My coolant temperature been going up and down. It did it for the first time Fri night when i got off of work but o drove it the next morning and it drove just fine no problems at all. Then i drove it again Sun and had no problems again, drove it to work today no problems but when i got off of work tonight it was rising again. What could be the problem? It can't be the head gasket could it cause if it was it would be rising everytime i drove or am i wrong? I'm asking cause the head gasket is the worse case so i'm hoping it may be something small. Btw i don't know if this helps but when i get off of work at night i take the highway when i drove to work i take the back roads, that sat morning and sun evening i didn't drive on the highway either. Could that be the issue high speed?

Are American cars that bad?

This afternoon my neighbors were talking. One of them bought a 2015 Chrysler 200 S with a Petastar V6 engine.

my other Neighbor told him he should have bought a Camry because japanese cars are more reliable than any american car. Is that true? Does that mean pickup trucks like the Sierra, F150, and Ram are not good? Or the Charger, Mustang or Camaro?

he said he would buy a Honda Civic with 300 000 km on it rather than buying a brand new American car.

My coolant temperature going up and down?

My coolant temperature was raising high last night when i got off work but when i drove it this morning i didn't have any problems. I just brought this car last week it's a 05 Honda Civic DX

Which car should I get next? (Currently own an 07 Honda Civic)?

I currently own an 07 Honda Civic, 2.2 TDCI EX, around 150bhp, it's a lovely car but i'm looking to upgrade soonish for that newer car feel (it's exciting!) I'm wondering which car to upgrade to next.

My civic fills up for about £60 and will do around 50mpg, so my ideal next car I would love to have around the same/ better efficiency, around the same/ slightly more horsepower, 5 seater, 5 doors, Bluetooth etc. I'm on a budget of about 5k (will buy car second hand) so I'm not expecting anything mindblowing or anything from the last 4 or so years. I was looking into fiestas or focuses but the ones I can afford kind of seem a downgrade to me in terms of performance and appearance (not looking at ST's or RS's purely for low fuel efficiency in comparison). I learnt in a Fiesta and loved it but the horsepower just doesn't equate to that of a Honda civic!

So what I'm trying to figure out is where can I go with that 5k? I'll admit my knowledge of cars isn't fantastic, so thought I'd come here to ask people who know much more!

What can cause wiper blades to crack a windshield on an 06 civic?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic. There was a tiny crack in the windshield. Recently it got bigger, I thought it had something to do with either the fact that it's cold and it's getting hit with hot air and cold air but I also noticed on that particular day I had used the wipers but I didn't really think it was the wipers. Since the crack was small enough we repaired it with the resin kit and I could no longer see the crack. It's rained since but I haven't driven in the rain until today. It was kinda sleeting/raining and I drove 5 mins down the street and saw a definite new crack but in the same spot (kinda under where the tip of the left blade would lies when down). Half way home the crack expanded towards the left. I'm going to have to replace it now but I want to know is it really the wipers that are causing this?
Btw we had blades replaced and from what I can tell, there's no issues with the top of the left one doesn't actually touch the windshield and the guys at AutoZone couldn t figure out why

2018 Honda Civic - Waking up to windows being down?

Last night I turned my car off, heard a weird beep, a red light on the left side of the dash flashed a few times (looks like a theft light although I've never seen it before) then my 4-ways flashed a couple times. This lasted for like 6 seconds then stopped so I proceeded to lock my car and went inside.

I woke up this morning to all four of my windows down. I'm reading online that this has happened to people who have accidentally held their unlock button too long on their fob but I didn't do that last night and it doesn't explain the beeping and flashing lights before I even got out of my car. It's a brand new off the lot 2018 Civic.

Any ideas?
