2014 Honda Civic Sedan or 2014 Honda Civic Coupe?

I'm looking at both of these vehicles and I know that they are going to be the exact same except for the fact that one is a 2 door and the other a 4 door with different exterior styling of course. The Honda Civic Coupe looks better than the sedan in my opinion judging from the front face. I would like to know which one is best for a guy who is most likely going to drive by himself but also occasionally hold passengers. Will the Coupe still have good legroom and still remain comfortable enough for when I do have passengers or should I just stick to the sedan. Please show me the pros and cons of both cars and please do not recommend any other vehicle.

Do I have a dead battery or bad alternator?

2008 Honda civic lx with 88k miles. It died randomly a week ago when parked when I was eating lunch didn't leave lights on. When id thrn the key there was a clicking sound and the lights were flashing. Not enough power to turn the radio on. Got a jump and it drove fine. No battery light on or anything. Drive home turn it off. Turn the key but not far enough to start it and it shows the battery light. Turn the key all the way and it started again and the battery light was off. Turned the car off and about 5 hours later I went back and it was dead. Dashboard lights flashing not enough power to start the car. It seems to need a jump to start then drives normal then after sitting off for awhile it dies. Problem is I drive short distances like 15 mins so I'm not really giving it the time it needs to fully charge the battery. So is it the alternator or the battery? The battery does when it sits off I'm probably not driving it enough to fully charge it but still I feel like it shouldn't lose all charge after 4 hours or so of sitting.

Are HID headlights in California illegal?

I'm thinking about putting aftermarket headlight bulbs with 5000K (whitish-blue) HID lights on my Honda Civic. It will be done by a tuning shop, which will provide me the service and kit to install.

I want to know if this process is illegal in California only.

2002 Toyota Corolla vs 2000 Honda Civic?

Which one should I get and why? I'm planning on getting one of these cars next year when I turn 18 to use just as a daily driver to get me home to school and work and every now and then when I go out with friends. I'm also planning on getting it in white and just put some nice rims on it and maybe some nice speakers. Btw I live in New York City and since insurance will be high for me I'm planning on putting it under my fathers name and also this will be my first car ever thats why I don't know which to pick I also just want the one that has better gas milage.

Added (1). I also want it Automatic.

Belt tightening vs replacement?

Which is the better deal? I got quoted $200 for a belt tightening, and after some research it looks like it's the same cost as just replacing the belt. I figure why not get a new belt while I'm at it. But I'm not a car expert so i don't know if I'm right about the cost. And maybe there's some techincal issues that a new belt may cause that I'm unaware of. I don't know

So, tl;dr: Should I get my belt replaced or just tightened? If not why?

Not sure if this matters but I have a 2006 Honda Civic with 104,000 miles on it.

Civic is making high pitched noise?

I drive a 2009 Honda Civic LX. I have never had issues with my car before. It has roughly around 75,000 miles on it. Lately, I have been noticing that my civic has been making a high pitched noise when I put it into drive. The sound in itself seems to be coming from the front left side of my car (possibly tire). I can only assume the location of where the sound is coming from based on my front window being down. It's very noticeable at very low speeds. When I press on the brakes, the noise stops. It sounds is like two metal objects scraping against one another. The noise isn't consistent, when i'm driving on the highway, it comes and goes. However, the noise seems to be the strongest when I first start my car and begin pulling out of a parking lot and start driving at lower speeds. Could it be my brake pads worn down? I always thought that the brake pads start making a high pitched noise when you press on the brakes, however that is hardly the case or actually the complete opposite with no sound when I press on the brakes. I have never had anything done to my civic nor have I changed the brake pads. I regularly get oil changes. Can someone please provide me with some insight?

POSSIBILITY OF OVER CHARGING MY AC?

I HAVE A HONDA CIVIC EX 04 I ADDED SOME R-134A BUT WHEN I HAVE MY AC ON THE CAR SEEMS TO WANNA DIE COULD THIS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS WASN't DOING IT BEFOR?

91 honda civic EF engine check light on because of Speedo?

I recently purchased a 1991 EF 4-speed. I have put around 400 miles on it. Really amazed by the gas mileage. I got 33MPG, mainly highway. It may seem to be nothing to Honda veteran, but I'm really impressed for what this old machine can do.

I put on a new muffler, old one is rusty and leaking. I adjusted throttle cable, it was too tight which led to high and fluctuating idle… I also cleaned the throttle body… It runs fantastic…

The problems…

1. It has loud noise from valve train (maybe?)… Is it normal for Honda? Maybe just the valve clearance? Or distributor?

2. While I was driving along highway, the ECL on and I notice that the Speedo quit working. (It was working when I purchased it)… Is the ECL related to the speedo? I have seen some vehicles with no speedo but still would not trigger ECL… I drove about 100miles on highway after this problem occurred… Not a lot of feel in power loss, water temp remain the same… Will Autozone be able to read the code, considering this is an old vehicle with OBD-I (I guess) ?
