Car ran fine then wouldn't start, got a jump, now everything is fine again. What happened?

'03 Honda Civic. Last 30 mins of work I sat in my car with the A/C on full blast and radio on, like I do everyday (and of course the car is running). I stopped at Subway after work. The car was parked for 10 mins.

After the car would not start but the radio and dash board lights would come on, but it would not crank.

Got a jump from AAA.

Afterwards Auto Zone tested the battery and alternator, both passed.

I has been a week now and no problems.

What the heck could have happened?

Something is wrong with my car's temperature gauge?

The temperate gauge is at a good spot on my car (just below half), where it's supposed to be.

Lately, when I have my car off for about 20 minutes or longer, it drops. It goes way to the bottom as if the dial is broken.

When I turn on my car, it takes a few seconds (as if a car is old) then turns on. Meaning it is stalling as I'm turning the key, to turn the car on for a few seconds

After a few minutes of driving, the dial goes back to its normal spot, just below half.

I don't know why this is happening. Any help?

2001 honda civic flashing check engine light problems we?

I have a 2001 honda civic with high mileage. The check engine light was flashing for a few seconds then staying on and doing this randomly. We checked the code and it was a p0301 cylinder 1 misfire. We did spark plugs and coils and that did not fix the problem. I braught it to the mechanic who did some valve adjustments and fixed the timing belt because that was about to go. The check engine light stayed out for a little bit then started flashing randomly but wouldn't stay on just flash while I was driving about every two minutes. What could be causing this problem? The car drives normal and good.

When should I trade in my used car for a new one?

8 months ago, I was in a situation where I didn't have the best credit and I only had $1,000 down payment. The only car I could afford was an 06' Honda civic on buy here pay here financing. I soon realized I overpaid for the car at $8,000 @ 19.5% interest. The salesman told me as long as I make 10 months of consistent payments, i can then trade in the civic and buy something new. Well, time passed and i saved up $10,000 for a down payment for a new car and I payed off everything on my credit which did make it go up. I want to trade in the civic and get a brand new Nissan Sentra for $12,000. When should I trade in my civic if I currently have $5K in negative equity? (The only reason I didn't pay off the car is because I wanted to show consistent on time payments to get a better interest rate on the new car. And I wanted to have a big down payment to help convince the finance department to lend to me)

My 1995 Honda civic 1.5L recently wouldn't start an hour after a common commute?

The fuel and air are not the problem. I'm not getting a spark. The engine cranks but will not start. I have already replaced the ignition control module and have tested the ignition coil. I don't believe it is anything to do with timing because it has no problems with skipping and such. Without replacing the entire distributer what else could be the problem?

How to get the most money from my almost dead car?

1998 Honda Civic with new catalytic converter, timing belt, hoses… And after spending $1400.00 on it - found out it has cracked ring and needs new motor. However, it IS a Honda and I know its worth something. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the most money out of it - and also please tell me how much I can expect to get - if you know.
